I LOVE TO RUN LIKE THE WIND!

I was able to do some running today on the beach!!!  I didn't even mind that I had to wear a collar and my sweater cause I still had a lot of fun.

Life is still filled with a lot of joy and I have several doggie friends here where we live. Some of us even get to go on walks together!

But I am looking forward to Spring coming our way. We live where it rains a lot so I want a warm Spring to arrive real soon.

Willow's World

Little Willow does not care where she puts her bed..she will sleep anywhere it ends up!  And she loves to sleep in it when it is on it's side. I don't have an explanation for that!

We are having so much fun with Willow. She is so well behaved that she is pure joy to be around. Of course everyone in this large apartment building love her and all want to hold her every time they see her.  And let me tell you, if I venture out without her I have to explain myself every time one of the residents see's me without that dog by my side.

I AM GROWING UP...KIND OF!

MOM is surprised at how much I have grown since I last posted.  I have not really gotten much "bigger" but MOM says I have 'matured' a bit. I have no idea what that means!  I am still me.

I have posted my latest photo to show you that I really am still me......

And I also want you to see that I really am getting to be a "big" girl.

As you can see I have lost all of my baby teeth!!  I am so proud. MOM says she hasn't found any teeth on the rug for a few days now. So I must be done.  But I must say I kind of miss them. My new teeth are not as sharp as my baby teeth were so I am finding that I have to chew and tear things using much more force and energy than I used to.  Yeah, that is a lot of fun for sure!!!

LOOK WHO HAS ADOPTED US!!!

We are proud to introduce our precious new little girl "Willow".
She is 5 months old and we call her a Taco/Weiner pup!!

And as you can guess she loves to play.

And she really likes to sleep!!

We are so lucky..she has slept thru the night since she came home with us.

She seems very smart and already knows which apartment door is ours and gets there at her top speed. She is bringing us joy and is filled with love. She will never replace Maggie and Mistaya but she has already found her own spot in our hearts and we love her dearly.

We are ready to show her lot's of fun places to explore, including our big beautiful ocean close by. We will take her there after her recall commands are firmly in place in her little head!!
We hope you can stop by often and joins us in watching this little girl grow into a wonderful family member. She is already in full love mode around here!!

We ventured back to the sea

We recently ventured back to the sea because a very strong storm had blown through the day before and we thought we could find some treasures on the beach.

Well....we did!

What we found was a very large mass of Giant Sea Kelp that had washed in during the storm. Each of these Kelp has a large root that attaches it to rocks on the ocean floor. Apparently the tide and the storm was so strong it tore this mass of Kelp loose and when is reached this bay, the bay is so shallow that it rolled and rolled the mass of Kelp until it reached the shore.
The Kelp grows up to 40 feet in length and we had no doubt that these giants were easily that long.
Who knows what else is tangled up in this twisted mass of sea life.

Amazing sight to see!

I wonder how long it will take this Kelp to wash back out to sea.  It would need another strong storm I am sure.

There is always something of interest to find when we visit the sea.  My favorite place to be..and as you can see, Mistaya loves to be here too.  She did well this time without Maggie at her side. I think she is spending less time looking for Maggie which is making it easier on all of us too.
