I am now just over 9 months old! I am not sure if I am a big girl yet or not. But I do know that mom and dad took me to see someone they called the Vet. I thought all of the staff were all real nice when I first got there cause they were all coming to the front desk to see me. But when mom and dad started to back away from the counter I began to get worried. Mom did tell me to be a good girl and that they would be right back but I did get scared. The office girls were all real nice and spoke to me very kindly so I tried really hard to be good and to be quiet.
I guess mom and dad came to get me just a few hours after I had a surgery so I got to be back with them that same day. It was all kind of fuzzy that first day but they let me sleep as much as I wanted.
The next day was confusing for me. I was home but my tummy area hurt. And from what I could tell there was something called stitches there too. I do remember mom telling me what happened but it is gone from my memory bank now. I did hear her tell me that she refused to have some kind of cone thing put on my little head. She promised the Vet that I would not chew my stitches and wouldn't need that thing. And I am very proud to say that I have not chewed them at all!
So I am now back to my puppy self and feeling real good. I am sorry for the lack of posts but we have had a bit of turmoil here and are just now getting back to normal. Mom takes me for a walk even if it is raining. She said if we wait for the rain to stopped we would never get to take a walk. So we both bundle up and she always takes a umbrella too so we still have a lot of adventures!
