I could hear M.O.M. saying something..(of course I heard her cause you know how good of hearing us Australian Shepard's have!) but I acted like I just couldn't hear her.
Well, the wind was rushing past my ears so I could say that was the reason I kept running all around the yard with a wonderful long, sharp, stick in my mouth.

But then I saw the look on her face.

I wasn't sure just what kind of look it was because I could detect a hint of a scowl, a hint of a smile and I am sure I even heard a bit of  laughter from her as she was trying to get my attention.

As I ran past her for about the 10th time at full speed with my big, long, sharp stick in my mouth I did hear her say "Okay Mistaya, but I had better not ever see you running with scissors in my yard!!!!"

  1. ha ha ha! Sounds just like something all mommy's say....

  2. Your MOM is very smart. You should only run with scissors INSIDE the house! :)

  3. Remington, I am glad to hear that M.O.M. is not the only one who says such silly things!!! Hugs and wags, Mistaya

  4. Hey JackDaddy...that's a good idea!! The next time she is doing her crafting I will quietly stroll over to her sewing basket and take out her scissors and play with them while she does her crafting!!! and I know how to run real fast around all our funiture and down the hallway, jump on the big, soft bed,run back down the hallway and around the furniture again before she can catch me I'll bet!!! Thanks for the idea! Hugs and wags, Mistaya

  5. Hi Gail,
You are one very lucky lady!!! You never have a bad hair day and you have nice thick hair at 60 and over!!! Tell me how it is when you live near the ocean OK ???
Mistaya, you love to run!!! And it is so good for you!!!
    Thanks for you visit!!

  6. Aw Mistaya, you look like you are having so much fun running with your stick. But stay away from those scissors.

  7. Fern, I will let you know what happens after our move. We will be going from 4,200 feet in elevation to sea level. That just might cause some changes. Hey, do you think it will cause me to loose about 20 pounds?? That would be sooo wonderful!!!! Hugs to you, Gail

  8. Hi SquirrelQueen...M.O.M. did mention that I am to stay far away from anything with a sharp point on it! I guess that means scissors and knives and such. Darn, I didn't even get a chance to try those things out. Phewwwie!!! Hugs and wags, Mistaya

  9. Mistaya Mom's favorite thing to say to me is Madi don't do so and so or you'll 'bust your chin wide open'!!!
    Doesn't that sound gross.

  10. Yeew! I can't imagine 'bustin my chin wide open'! But I can't even guess what would happen if I ran into something or fell dwon while I was running with my favorite long, sharp pointed stick. Hmmm...maybe that's why I can't find it anywhere this morning!!

M.O.M!!!, M.O.M.!!! HAVE YOU SEEN MY FAVORITE STICK!!! M.O.M.!!! cAN YOU HEAR ME YELLING FOR YOU???!! Hmmm, do you suppose???...

  11. Mistaya I'm betting your long stick is now wood shavings....Madi

  12. Madi...I did see a pile of something in the back yard. Oh my, do you suppose that is where my stick went? Oh dear :{
