THANKS M.O.M. FOR MAKING ME FEEL BETTER

M.O.M. looked out the front window today and this is the scene she saw. I think it made her feel kind of sad....look at the next picture closer and I think you will understand why she feels this way.......
She noticed that I have spent a lot of my day lying in the driveway. Usually if I am waiting for M.O.D. to come home from work I am lying in the opposite direction so I can see him coming down the road. This time I was facing the house. I know M.O.M. understands how much I miss my snow and she has explained that there is nothing we can do about it.
So I was very excited when she came out and asked me if I wanted to go on a walk with her. Oh my gosh!! Of course I do!
But this time we walked down our road to the north. It is a bit shorter trip but I know M.O.M. remembers that there are several of my friends that live down that way that I have not gotten to speak with in a while.

So off I ran like the wind. It felt so good to be out running free and knowing M.O.M. was right behind me...well she can't walk as fast as I can run but I did keep an eye on her so she wouldn't get lost.
This is our first stop on our walk. Two beautiful Golden Retrievers live in this very large fenced in yard. When I come to visit the 3 of us run as fast as we can along this long fence, reach the corner of their yard and turn around and run back again. We have a lot of fun in a very short time!
Our next stop is to say Hello to my 3 Mule friends. They were eating their dinner and didn't seem to want to come over to the fence to say hello to me. That's okay, it was good to see them anyway.
These Mules get to eat from one of those giant round bales of hay. But instead of eating from the outside in, they like to tear it apart and eat the inside first!! Silly Mules..they have their feet on their dinner table!!
So my day turned out pretty good thanks to M.O.M. taking me for a very fun walk. She laughs when the term 'went for a walk' is mentioned...she says I rarely walk when we are on our road.

I hope all of you, who have gotten the snow instead of me, begin to get warmer weather and it finally melts off your roof and yards. You can tell by my photos that our weather is beautiful..I am beginning to like it too! But M.O.M. keeps reminding me that we can get snow here clear into June. Oh boy!! There is still hope!

  1. Sounds like you had a GREAT day! Did the mules ask you to come and join them? That would of been the neighborly thing to do....You may of been in a hurry though....

  3. Hi Mistaya what a great POST!!!!
You all live in a beautiful location and so many friends.....Mom and I spotted snow off the mountain peaks way off in the distance. Guess what we're expecting a small snow event tonight. About 1" but then it will be below freezing too so getting out and about early tomorrow could get dicey!!! Mom said to tell you she will kick about in the snow for you.
