CHRISTMAS AT THE SEA!

We took Mistaya for a fun Christmas Day on the beach.

I was curious to see if the Giant Kelp had washed back out to sea during our recent King Tide.
And it had.
But in place of the Giant Kelp we found a lot of the 6 foot variety.

It look as if it fought very hard not to go back out to sea as it had wrapped itself around any stick or log it could.  What a twisted mess!
Mistaya and I want to wish all of you a very Happy New Year and and that wish comes directly from my heart!

OKAY..WE GIVE UP

I have been trying for 3 days to post a story of Mistaya's presents from Jazzi's Christmas Exchange but have had very little luck.
Once in a while I could upload one photo per hour. Now the screen wants me to sign in to post my own photos!?? Then is says it can not complete my request.
Crazy.

I so give up!  I will post the pictures that I have finally uploaded.

I am sorry Maggie, I had several great pictures of Mistaya opening her wonderful presents from you but they won't allow me to upload them. So here is what we have today...

Mistaya was very excited to finally get to open her Christmas Exchange gift from her new friend Maggie.

Of course she wanted to pull everything out of the box and play with them all at once!
She was very quick to claim "Purple Guy" as her own.

Of course this can of doggie biscuits really caught her attention and she dove right into them.  We had to stop her or she would have eaten the entire contain of them!
When she spotted the brown bear near the bottom of the bag she did stop and stare for a minute.

But the moment M.O.D. picked it out of the bag Mistaya grabbed it and took off to her bed.
I think in this picture she is having a conversation with the cute little bear!  I sure wish I knew what they were talking about.
Then she remembered "Purple Guy" and at once she "put him in his place" and we rarely see her without him...usually held tightly in her teeth.
And we do believe that Maggie has found a gift that little Mistaya can not chew to pieces.
Believe me...she has tried!!!

Thank you Maggie for all the wonderful gifts you sent Mistaya for Jazzi's Christmas Gift Exchange. She enjoys them all.
We hope you and Mitch and your family have a wonderful Happy New Year.  And we are looking forward to reading more of you new adventures in the coming year.
Hugs and wags to you, Mistaya

WE CAN'T UPLOAD OUR PICS

Blogger has decided to play tricks on us so we can not post any Christmas pictures tonight.

So we will attempt to post our photos of Mistaya opening her wonderful gifts from Maggie tomorrow.
Please come back cause the gifts are really awesome and you just have to see them all!!!

A CHRISTMAS COMFORT

A Nativity Scene was erected in a church yard.
During the night the folks came across this scene.

An abandoned dog was looking for a comfortable, protected place to sleep. He chose baby Jesus as his comfort. No one had the heart to send him away so he was there all night.
