We have been spending some time lately camping at the ocean. And even the pups have been enjoying themselves.
We have had great weather with beautiful sunsets.
The dogs have found many very large driftwood trees to climb and play on. In the above photo Maggie seems to be saying to Mistaya..."How do I get up there too?"
Of course it did not take Maggie long to figure out how to get up there and feel very tall. I didn't worry about Maggie jumping off in the wrong place but Mistaya made several moves as if she was going to simply jump down. I had to tell her to 'stay' as she was planning to jump way down to the ground when Maggie approached. I often think that Mistaya is really trying to lead Maggie astray several times a day. She does try to encourage her to run out in the waves. And you may remember that Maggie was caught in a return tide waves last summer and she has never forgotten that and she does not like to get very far out in the waves. Smart pup.
Maggie did find it a lot of fun to run and play with beautiful Shirley many times during our stay at this beautiful beach on the northern Washington coast.
And yes, we are planning to return very soon.
I am sorry that we have been away so long but a lot of life has gotten in our way and a lot of things are changing in our lives in the near future. I do have a lot of news to share with all of you but it will take me some time before I can put it into words for all of you. I will keep sharing our adventures with the pups and share our future with you as soon as I feel comfortable talking about it. Thank you all for continuing to check back on our blog....I will make a great effort to post pictures and comments immediately!
