While Maggie and Mistaya were running wild on the beach, Mistaya found a piece of driftwood and started running with it in an attempt to keep it away from Maggie.
Now, this is Mistaya's normal behavior as she always tries to keep all the wonderful treasures to herself.
In the above picture Maggie has just stolen Mistaya's special piece of driftwood and is running for her life!
Maggie is extremely proud that she has finally fooled Mistaya and plans to keep her new found treasure all to herself.
Maggie trotted off down the beach a ways to make sure that Mistaya was not making any sneaky attempt to steal it back.
When she realized she was safe she sat herself down and proceeded to chew the heck out of her little treasure.
Of course it didn't take little Maggie long to realize that this piece of driftwood was a bit to large for her to chew on and it was a bit to large for her to carry it very far in her little mouth.
So after spending a fair amount of time acting like she was really having fun, she raced on down the beach and continued chasing after Mistaya and making a total pest out of herself.
Yes, they both had a wonderful time running together on the beach.
They seem so human sometimes! Your little Maggie reminds me of my Radar. What joy they bring into our lives!
ReplyDeleteHi Rae, They do act like humans often...they get so jealous of each other, then they act like best buds, then they get made at each other and I think they really pout!
ReplyDeleteThe joy they bring to our lifes is so wonderful.
Hugs to you, Gail
MOL Maggie
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting the driftwood; however, it appears you discovered things are much more fun when shared with Mistaya.
Hugs Madi
That is too cute, Maggie looks so proud of herself. It looks like it was a great day to be on the beach.
ReplyDeleteMadi, you are so right. I found that after I had stolen the stick away from Mistaya that she went on to other adventures and chewing on the stick by myself wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be!
ReplyDeleteHugs and wags, Maggie
SquirellQueen,
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful day. The weatherman had reported that it was to rain for 2 straight days so we actually thought about staying home. Sure glad we didn't. The weather was good and we all had a wonderful time!
Hugs and wags, Maggie
