CAMPING AGAIN!

Yes, we went camping again! This time we drove a short distance south and found a large campground right on the sea about 25 minutes from home.

It didn't take Maggie long to discover a treasure of her own...a large crab.

Fortunately we were able to distract her quickly and move on down the beach.

 Mistaya spent a great deal of time sitting and staring at a tree that was just beside our tent.  She actually sat motionless for many minutes until we discovered what she was so intent on viewing............

And there it was...a pesky Squirrel finding his dinner in the tree and tossing his leftovers down on our tent.

He actually was the only thing of color in this grey tree.  Even I was surprised when I viewed this photo at the lack of color except for the Squirrel.

This is what the little pine cones looked like that he was tearing open to eat the seeds hidden inside.

Mistaya was so good and just sat and watched this little creature for more than a half hour. She made no attempt to chase him and he show no fear of her.

I just can't resist the beauty of this magnificent ocean as the sun leaves us for another day.
