I suspect that Mistaya was trying to tell me a whole different version of this story.....
Yes, I think it turned out real well.
But wait....
I have just a few pictures to show you that it really was quite the challenge to get just this one picture of these 2 cute dogs being still in the same frame..at the same moment.
This is a typical response by Mistaya to my request to "Please sit still for just a moment!"
Maggie did pretty good.

Well, one of them tried to cooperate with me!
But in the next pictures Maggie was trying so hard to be good but Mistaya choose that moment to act like she was falling over! And she just couldn't sit up any longer.
Oh Brother!!!!

Her look says it all....I have had enough!!!!
So I am pleased that out of all the pictures I snapped of them that I did at least get one pretty good one.
Lesson learned....don't try to photograph 2 dogs in the same shot when you are the only human in the building!
I could not have done it if I hadn't come up with the idea of using my emergency whistle to get their attention. Neither one had heard it before so it easily caught their attention.
But next time I will wait till my husband is in the same room and recruit him to help keep these two in one place for just a bit longer!

Mom agrees that it's tough getting great photos when you want both doggies in the same photo. Treats do help a whole lot!
