M.O.M. and I went on our walk down the road and into the woods last evening. As we were returning home very strong winds began to blow. This wind gave me a total new look for my black coat.
M.O.M. clicked a picture during one of the stronger gusts.
We then decided that we probably should get home in case one of the very old trees just couldn't stand up against these winds any longer.
The below photo is one of my very favorite pictures. It always stirs up many feelings for me each time I view it. I am posting it here and may do so at least once a month in hopes that if someone new to our blog doesn't yet have a rescue dog that they might decided to go to their local shelter and save a dog or puppy like this one.
interesting style there Mistaya.
ReplyDeleteI hear they have big winds on the west coast!!! You are looking good Mistaya.
ReplyDeleteThats very good to put that picture up every month!! Every one should have a rescue dog and cat!!
Can I take that picture and put it up every so often too???
XXOO, Fern
Hi Mistaya what a cute picture of you!!!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the homeless puppy in the snow breaks our heart.
We hope all are well at your house,
Madi and Mom
Hi Mistaya,
ReplyDeleteMom and I just caught up with things on your blog. What a nice long trail you have to wander on when you move. I know you and Mom will enjoy exploring and taking lots of pictures.
Madi
Hi Keewee...yes, I think I look rather cute in the new "wind Blown" look!! I may start a new trend! Hugs and wags, Mistaya
ReplyDeleteFern, you certainly can post that great picture. I received it in an email quite a long time ago. If it can save one puppy, dog or cat then post is as often as you like. It speaks volumes doesn't it? Gail
ReplyDeleteMadi, M.O.M. gets kind of teary eyed everytime she sees that photo too. We wish every animal could find a home like yours and mine. I know how lucky I am to have found M.O.M. and M.O.D. love and hugs to you and your mom, Mistaya
ReplyDeleteWe like your wind blown look Mistaya, it is very becoming. Cindi went outside with me today and the wind gave her a similar look.
ReplyDeleteI get kind of teary eyed too when you post this photo. I wish all the little shelter dogs and cats could find forever homes like you and Cindi have.
I can imagine what Cindi looked like in a wind storm!!
ReplyDeleteAnd M.O.M. and I wish for the same thing for all puppies and kittens too. Hugs and wags, Mistaya
Well, you were lucky. It could've been a hair-dont! :)
