THERE IS FRESH SNOW FALLING!

M.O.M. just happened to look out the front window and noticed that I had taken my yummy dog bone out of my kennel and was chewing on it in the front yard while the snow was falling on me. Yes, I know she keeps the kennel nice and clean for me...she even puts in fresh sawdust in one corner so I can do my 'duty' there if I wish but sometimes I like to be in the front yard so I can watch the cars and trucks go by. And she always leaves my kennel door open so I can use it when I want. I know she felt kind of bad because the snow was building up on my beautiful black coat but I really wasn't to concerned about that. Thank you anyway M.O.M.
M.O.M. and I went out back to check on the pond that I loved to play in during the warmer weather. But she was a bit upset when she realized it was frozen except for 2 small holes in the middle. She made me stay far away from it and told me that there was a chance something may have fallen in it so I must not go close to the edge. For some unknown reason the little ditch by us started having water run in it again so it must have started to refill the pond. We do not like to see that as some animals do not realize it is a frozen pond and venture out onto it. We both hope this didn't happen this time.
Before dark the snow turned into rain so I came into the house and chewed on many of my chew toys in the warmth and comfort. Stay safe and warm all my blogger friends...and have a wonderful New Year.

  3. Miss Cindi got to play in the snow the other day, but after about two minutes she wanted to go back inside. Kitties don't understand how much fun snow can be.
Hope your pond freezes over soon so all the animals will be safe.
