We see many different types of views on our adventures about town.
The first photo shows the age of many buildings we see along our routes. Many of the piers are nothing but a few pilings still in the water. Most are covered with green moss and are used only by the Sea Gulls and a few Blue Herons.
This is the bridge that is a drawbridge that spans the river. It is fun to see the the 2 portions of this bridge rise high into the air so large ships can sail safely beneath the bridge.
Mistaya has learned where all the parks are where we let her run and chase her ball. Several blocks before we arrive at the destination she starts doing her whining talk thing! Sometimes "smart" is hard to live with!!!
I just read through my blog and I noticed that the photo of the drawbridge was no longer on my page. I have reposted it here and have no idea what happened!!
Mistaya, it sure didn't take you long to figure out the fun places to play in your new home. I hope to get there to see you play.

I haven't seen a working drawbridge in a long time. Thanks for the picture!
ReplyDeleteThe old buildings like this one and the big drawbridges are something we miss seeing. The coast certainly has some great views.
ReplyDeleteMistaya, you are so smart. It didn't take you long to figure out all the good spots.

PS, Several bloggers lately have mentioned problems with photos. It must be blogger acting up again.
