We left home real early in the morning to do some beachcombing and to try to beat the crowds.
We arrived at half Moon Bay near WestPort early enough to find ourselves very alone on this beautiful beach. We didn't find many treasures but all three of us sure enjoyed our time on this lovely beach.
We then drove over to the south side of the Westport jetty hoping to not have to fight the crowds there.
Ah, now this is a wonderful site...we had the Pacific Ocean all to ourselves on this early morning stroll.
It was so quiet that we were able to let our little Mistaya run to her hearts content.
Mistaya even decided that she could actually run out into the waves and would be okay. Each time she ran farther and farther out. I think she is learning that she can outrun the little waves if she has to.
She and her M.O.D. made such a pretty picture as they walked all alone on this wide expanse of beach.
Oh no...I knew there would be a crowd here!
Yes, that's the biggest crowd we have ever seen on any of our beach strolls! We have no idea why so many of these Sea Gulls were all gathered together. We assume they had just enjoyed a large breakfast courtesy of the sea.
If you click on this photo you can get a great view of this large flock of Sea Gulls.
We are loving our adventures to the Sea and try to go as often as we can. We have to be careful when Mistaya is close by and try not to use the words "beach", "ocean", or "sea" as she immediately perks up and runs to the front door!
Looks wonderful... wish I was there!!!
ReplyDeleteGosh Tank, I sure wish you could go to the beach with me!! It is sooo much fun! Hugs and wags, Mistaya
ReplyDeleteSounds like heaven! Thanks so much for sharing! Love the photos, as always. Keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteThat is the biggest water bowl I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteHi Rae...I will always keep in touch :) Gail
ReplyDeleteHi remington....it really doesn't taste very good as a water bowl but it sure works fantastic for a wading pool!!! Hugs and wags, Mistaya
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beaches and I love the endless horizon. I'll bet you had so much fun Mistaya. The waves are lots of fun but keep a close eye on them and watch out for the sneaker waves.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really interesting looking "crowd", did you have a run at them Mistaya?
