M.O.M. and M.O.D. let me ride with them when the drove to the local cemetery today to view the Veterans flags that were placed by all the graves and to also walk about the cemetery and view some of the very old headstones.
Of course M.O.M. said I needed to stay in the car because this is a very special place and out of respect dogs should stay in their cars.
I heard M.O.M. tell a friend they saw there that she and M.O.D. like to visit the graves and read the names out loud. And since many of the people had died in the late 1800's and the early 1900's that they knew many of these names had not been spoken in many, many years. And to say them out loud made them seem more real and to honor the time they had spent on this earth.

Madi...I knew the moment Charlotte set me on the counter at my home in the Humane Society when I was just a pup in Hamilton Montana and M.O.M. let me give her a big kiss, that this was the family I needed to adopt.
