OK, I HAVE TO ADMIT SOMETHING

Yes, I have to admit that M.O.M.and I do think little kittens are pretty cute. There is something about the way they look at the world around them....everything seems to be there to bring out their curiosity. And that always seems to make for great pictures. Well, Catsister is being real nice to me...even playing with me once in a while...so I guess these independent creatures aren't so bad after all!

  2. Hi Mistaya!!!
Thank you for the lovely ode to kitties....we are a nice lot but admittedly aloof. Mom was reading a new book about dogs and cats recently. Dogs are very social by nature. Cats are a solitary breed and not always in tuned to the wants and needs of others but when given a chance we can be very loving. Give your catsister a lick for me. Madi and Mom

  4. I have decided that is appears that catsister has decided not to move out just because I am here. So I am trying to be friends with her...and she does let me chase her when we are outside sometimes. But I have noticed she always makes sure she is near the tall trees when we play so she can climb up the tree to get away from me. And as you all have seen, I have not yet perfected my tree climbing skills! So she is safe for now! But when she is in one of her moods, she just lays down on the grass and doesn't move. I am sure she knows I don't like that. But what's a puppy to do??? Hugs and wags, Mistaya

I took some time away from blogging last week to catch up on some things around the house. We had sixty degree temps and it was a good time to get all the limbs and debris out of the yard. We're back to normal now with the cold and damp.
