OUR WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS GIFT EXCHANGE!!

Our Christmas Gift Exchange presents arrived in the mail from Maggie and Mitch several days before Christmas but M.O.M. made us wait all the way till Christmas Eve!!!!

The first thing we smelled...and ate..were some very delicious
Doggie Cookies...they were soooo yummy!

Then Maggie and I both tore into our presents and found two awesome soft toys.

Maggie grabbed the one with the stripped legs and arms first so I grabbed the cute gold one.
Wow, it made a great noise every time I bit into it!
Then I decided that since I am the older one that I should get my choice first.
So I went over and tried to take it away from Maggie and about that time she decided that the stripped one should be hers!!
So I decided that I wasn't going to settle for this behavior and was going to claim it as my own.

Maggie did not see it that way!!!
So we spent a few minutes arguing over this wonderful toy when I realized that if I didn't let Maggie play with it for awhile that it just might get torn into pieces.
So I released my tight grip on the toy and let her play with it for awhile before I took it and hide it in my secret hiding place.

I decided that a well earned nap was in order for me and that just might give Maggie a chance to get tired of the toys and the stripped one would be my own.

Well, as you can see Maggie had different ideas about these two great toys.
She piled the two toys on top of each other......I am sure she did that because she just couldn't decide which one she wanted to play with first!
She then proceeded to chew on each toy for a few minutes, throw it up in the air, put it back on "her" pile and do the same thing with the other one.
This could be a problem.
That's okay, when she isn't looking I will steal my choice away from her and hide it good!!

Thank you Maggie and Mitch for the great presents...again!  We were lucky in the Christmas Gift Exchange last Christmas too!!  Mitch and Maggie had our names last year too!!
Yes, we are two very lucky...and happy...pups!!

Happy New Year everyone!

  4. Hi JackDaddy..
Forgetting almost was a problem for me. I hid a lot of my chew bones under some of M.O.M.'s flowers in her garden. I thought they were very safe there. When I went to get them I thought I had forgotten where I had hid them...then I found out M.O.M. had found them and took them away!! Can you imagine!! How dare she!!! But I have gotten new chew bones since so I guess it is okay. I just need to find a better hiding place!
    Happy New Year JackDaddy!!

  7. Hi Mistaya, you and Maggie got some really great presents. When Maggie was finished playing with the toys did she sleep on top of them? That's what Miss Cindi likes to do.

    Happy New Year!
